Living 21st Century Science in the NGSS Classroom (SERIES)
SCOE's 2017-18 series Living 21st Century Science in the NGSS Classroom invites intermediate and experienced NGSS teachers to engage in hands-on science learning in the field followed by an opportunity to collaboratively design lessons that draw from their own learning experiences.
This series includes two sessions that are each two days in length:
November 2-3, 2017 & February 1-2, 2018
Each session includes an immersive, experiential learning day off-site with experts from science and industry, followed by a day devoted to lesson and unit design with appropriate grade and content-level support provided.
