Classified Leadership Academy: The Law, Contracts, and Budget for Supervisors
This session covers the nuts and bolts of management for today’s classified leader: documentation, the FRISK process, managing a budget, handling grievances, working with contracts, sexual harassment prevention, negotiations, and other vital day-to-day issues.
As education becomes more complex and the expectations of schools grow, classified supervisors and managers face increasing challenges and opportunities, needing the skills and tools to be effective leaders in these exciting times.
SCOE is offering the Classified Leadership Academy, a low-cost series of nine half-day sessions that center on the most relevant topics for today’s leader. This two-year program is designed for supervisors and managers who wish to increase their capacities and professional abilities to effectively lead staff. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend the entire program.
