Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Reports

Smarter Balanced Assessment for Teachers This page provides annual Sonoma County results for the Smarter Balanced Assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics, showing the percent of students who were proficient, or met or exceeded the standards. These tests are part of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).

Sonoma County Schools and 2016 Overall SBAC Scores

To explore results from 2016, select the district, school, and report(s) that you would like to review. Additional information on state, county, district and school performance is available at the California Department of Education CAASPP reporting site.

Important Note: California’s primary student testing program from 1998 to 2013 was the STAR test, which has now been replaced by the Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBAC). The SBAC results cannot be compared to the STAR data because the two systems measure student learning against different standards.

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
