How do you describe your job to people outside SCOE?
I explain to them that I assist both SCOE Internal and the Districts we serve with issues they may be experiencing with their Escape Software (used for their payroll and financial needs) and also assist with providing training in regards to the software

Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in San Francisco and San Bruno. Moved to Sonoma County when I was in seventh grade, living in Occidental and then Santa Rosa.

Who was your favorite childhood teacher and why?
Mrs. Olcese, she was my second grade teacher and she saw potential in me when no one else did. Even at such a young age, she made me strive to be the best I could be, no matter what I was doing and that stuck with me.

What is your favorite thing about SCOE?
I really love that it feels like everyone at SCOE is part of a team. I feel very supported and appreciated here.

What is one of your most memorable moments as a SCOE employee?
Getting hired during the pandemic, It was very exciting and it has certainly been quite a ride!

Outside of work, what is your favorite hobby or way to unwind?
Spending time with my husband and my dogs.

Do you have a favorite TV show, movie or book that involves a school setting?
Too many to list, but I enjoy the Harry Potter Series, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Breakfast Club, and Heathers.

What is your favorite place in Sonoma County?
Goat Rock Beach. Did you know they filmed some scenes from the movie Goonies there?

What might people be surprised to learn about you?
I once worked as an art director at a gallery in Sausalito for The Art of Tim Cantor.
