California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN)
Region 1 provides professional learning and technical support to UPK providers in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma counties.
CPIN professional learning sessions, which are grounded in the California Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Foundations and Frameworks, are offered regionally at no cost to participants. Sessions are offered via ZOOM and in-person, and include single topics, series, and Community of Practices. Select topics are offered in Spanish as well.
SCOE staff serve in a leadership capacity as members of the authorized instructional network and attend Trainer of the Trainer sessions to stay current on research and updates to CDE Early Education division publications and recommendations.
