21st century teachers need to  create an environment that allows for effective communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.  Here are five things teachers should be using right now to help make this happen.

5. Online Gradebooks -  Students and parents need to be able to see grades and progress at any time.  Gradebooks should include digital copies of rubrics, student work and portfolios to show what is being produced and how it is being measured.  Learning does not end when the bell rings and parents need to be in the loop on what is happening in their child’s classrooms.

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
