IMPORTANT: Updated Form and New Procedures/Policy (Events/Eblasts)

Date: 09/29/2015
Author: Stacie

The updated Event Planning Approval form document has been posted in the "Forms & Documents" box to the left under the title Event Planning Form. This form has been updated to include a section related to E-Blasts to fit the new event E-Blast procedures described below in the Event Planning Procedure document announcement section.

The updated Event Planning Procedure document has been posted in the "Forms & Documents" box to the left under the title Event Planning Procedure. This procedure has been adjusted to incorporate the E-Blast request into the initial completion of the Event Planning Approval form for events we are hosting. A Google Folder with the E-Blast template request has been established and shared with all of you, and the link to the general E-Blast folder, the E-Blast template, and the 2015-16 E-Blast Templates folder can be found on the top of the ISD newspage under the iPad/Chromebook reservation section. Additional information about how to complete the E-Blast template in Google Docs is on the template itself.

The new E-Blast Policy for Non-SCOE Events document has been posted in the "Forms & Documents" box to the left under the title E-Blast Policy for Non-Events. This policy would be followed when the E-Blast is NOT related to an event we are hosting – i.e. a meeting that doesn’t require registration, general information about a state policy, an announcement about a community-wide event hosted by an outside agency, etc.

ESS Content Managers and Support Staff: Please make sure to carefully review the updated forms and procedures. All of this information will be discussed at the November Content Support Managers & Support Staff meeting. If you have any questions before then, please contact Stacie.
