SCOE sponsors Kids Day at the Sonoma County Fair with maker activities

Boy coloring This summer, SCOE will sponsor a booth at the Sonoma County Fair for the seventh year. Rather than sponsoring a rotation of school and district hosts in the Grace Pavilion as we have in the past, we are taking a much more hands-on approach!

We are sponsoring Kids Day on August 10, when children 12 and younger receive free general admission into the fair. Families are invited to stop by the SCOE booth, where they can work on interactive maker projects and learn about the maker movement from experts in the field. Staffing the booth will be SCOE's in-house maker masters Casey Shea, Anna VanDordrecht, and Dan Blake. The SCOE booth will be located behind the kids area on the Community Theater grass. Join us for this fun, educational summer activity!
