Cities across Sonoma County set records for high temperatures on Labor Day, and little relief from the heat is expected as the school week begins on Tuesday.
If you are a parent or guardian of a student in Sonoma County schools, please make sure the contact information you provided their school is up-to-date so that you can be notified in the event of a schedule modification or cancellation of school. If any public school district cancels school, it will be listed on this webpage.

You can click here for a list of publicly accessible cooling centers around Sonoma County. Please note: Some cooling centers expanded hours when the heat wave was extended through Thursday. You can click through the individual links to check the status of city-run cooling centers throughout Sonoma County.
