The Sacramento County Office of Education is pleased to announce a day that includes a keynote presentation by instructional expert, Dr. Nancy Cushen White.
Join us for an exciting and informative day learning how to integrate and implement the California Dyslexia Guidelines.
Topics will include:
• An introduction to the California Dyslexia Guidelines
• Characteristics of students with dyslexia
• Supporting students with dyslexia in the mainstream/general education classroom
• Structures and principles of Structured Literacy instruction as an approach to teaching students with dyslexia
• Breakout sessions to explore select chapters of the guidelines
