Good morning C&I Colleagues,

As you know, a condition for receiving an Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant is that an LEA must complete a plan.  The Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Grant Plan must be adopted by the local governing board or body of the LEA at a public meeting on or before June 1, 2021.

The ELO Plan must be submitted within five (5) days of adoption by the governing board or bodySchool districts must submit the plan to their COE; Charter schools must submit their plans to their chartering authority; COEs and school districts in a single-district county must submit their plans to the CDE.  For more information on the ELO plan, see the CDE FAQ website:   https://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/he/hn/covidgrantsfaqs.asp

SCOE requests that all School Districts and Charter School's ELO Plans be submitted to Katie Anderson, Fiscal Analyst with the External Fiscal Team.  Please email ELO plans to kanderson@scoe.org. Katie will ensure the plans are forwarded to the LEA's Fiscal Advisor and CI Director.

Thank you,

Jennie

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
