LCAP Childcare and Student Supervision Update

According to CDE, the first EO does not state that student supervision is required- nor does it state specific expectations for LEAs to conduct needs assessments or community engagement to determine if they should provide student supervision. Therefore, their unofficial stance is that if LEAs have provided supervision then they can explain and if they have not they will not be penalized.  This is their early thinking as they continue to discuss this internally and with stakeholders.
