California Mathematics Framework Curriculum Adoption Toolkit Training
Offering #1 03/11/2025
Prepare for the November 2025 release of the CDE mathematics curriculum adoption guidelines with SCOE's training on the Curriculum Adoption Toolkit. This session is designed to support schools and districts in planning for a successful mathematics instructional materials adoption.
We strongly encourage schools to send teams that include:
- A district administrator (Assistant Superintendent or C&I Director)
- A site administrator
- Teacher leaders or department chairs that represent a span of grade levels served within your LEA
During this training, participants will:
- Learn about expectations for instructional materials from the 2023 California Mathematics Framework.
- Identify the characteristics of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), with a specific focus on supporting Multilingual Learner (MLL) students.
- Explore the impact of instructional materials on student learning.
- Plan and establish structures to ensure a smooth and successful adoption process.
