Ethnic Studies - Continuum of Practice
Educators will develop their curriculum and analyze teaching practices with ethnic studies experts. This professional development program deepens educators' understanding of key concepts like identity, racism, intersectionality, and social movements. It emphasizes building community, teacher identity, and culturally responsive teaching using the Sonoma Framework. The program also models lesson plans and activities, such as the C4 process and critical cultural production, to help teachers implement effective Ethnic Studies curricula.
