Trauma-Informed Practices
Join us for an immersive experience led by Dr. Niki Elliott with the Heart-Centered Connections program. This training introduces foundational concepts to child-serving professionals and advocates who understand the unique needs of children and families affected by homelessness. The tools gained from this series will also support addressing other issues experienced by students dealing with trauma or placed in foster care.
Participants will engage in a two-day immersive experience, exploring interpersonal neurobiology, educational neuroscience, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices. Additionally, they will receive a one-year membership to the Mindful Leaders Project App, which includes access to weekly live virtual breathwork classes with Dr. Niki and a library of recorded mind-body practices.
Please plan on bringing your own lunch. There will be light snacks along with coffee and tea in the morning.
