The STEAM for Early Learners Community of Practice (CoP) is designed to support preschool, TK, and kindergarten educators in planning universally-designed STEAM learning opportunities aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations and Kindergarten Standards. During this yearlong professional learning experience, participants will meet monthly to receive ongoing training and coaching to implement an equitable STEAM curriculum that meets the needs of all children, especially multilingual learners and children with disabilities. We highly encourage teams of 2-6 members from each school/program to register.
PLEASE NOTE: STEAM material kits will be distributed throughout the year. Receiving all course materials is contingent upon attending all 10 monthly sessions. Also available to you through this course are 6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Sonoma State University and 25 professional development Workforce Registry hours through the California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN).
