Counselor Collaborative Spring 2024: Suicide Prevention
The Counselor Collaborative is a biannual convening of elementary, middle, and high school counselors and mental health providers. Each session consists of professional development activities that are related to issues identified by collaborative participants. Meetings feature guest speakers and interactive discussions on topics related to advancing the social, emotional, and academic growth of Sonoma County students. The event is hosted by the Behavioral Health & Well-Being department at SCOE and Sonoma County Association of School Psychologists (SCASP).
This spring's Counselor Collaborative will feature an all day workshop with Dr. Stephen Brock: Best Practices in School-Based Suicide Prevention Part II: Prevention, Post-vention and Re-entry.
Lunch will be provided at this all-day event.
CEUs will be available for an additional fee of $26 to be paid at the event. Payment can be made by Venmo. This course meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for LEPs, LMFTs, LPCCs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. This course also qualifies for 6 hours of continuing professional development for Nationally Certified School Psychologists, under provider number 1025.
