Antiracism and Universal Design for Learning: Building Expressways to Success
This five-session equity-based series centers on the key concepts of Andratesha Fritzgerald's book, "Antiracism and Universal Design for Learning: Building Expressways to Success." We will explore the roles of power and honor in learning environments, get specific and intentional about how to create conditions that nurture the brilliance of all our students, and address the necessity of being visible, flexible, and committed when engaging in antiracist Universal Design for Learning (UDL) implementation. Sessions will be be designed using the principles of Universal Design for Learning, ensuring that participants have multiple options for engaging in the learning, making sense of their learning, and taking action on what they've learned.
