TK Teacher Academy
The TK Teacher Academy is a 6 part professional development series that will focus on bridging the California Teacher Standards and the requirements of professional development in the areas of the UPK Implementation Plan and Survey. Each session will dig deeper into what High-Quality Transitional Kindergarten Teaching looks like.
Designed for:
- New TK teachers with embedded induction with NCSOE
- Seasoned teachers that are new to TK
- Experienced TK teachers (mentorship opportunities)

- Braided Professional development sessions
- Meets induction requirements
- meets UPK implementation plan and survey
- Mentor Opportunities
- CEU units (pending approval)
- Dig deeper into what high-quality TK teaching looks like
- Understanding of the unique components of the TK classroom
