CALPADS Special Education Data for 2023-24
This session will train local special education data coordinators and SELPA-level staff on the changes that will be occurring when the California Department of Education (CDE) implements the NEW Students with Disabilities Status (SWDS), Special Education Meetings (MEET), Special Education Plans (PLAN), and Special Education Services (SERV) files in CALPADS in September 2023. The training will cover:
- Description of new files and associated business rules
- Relationship of new files to data in your local special education data system
- Error resolution
- Report changes and additions
- Best practices for special education data management
