Math Framework Guidance Meeting
As we slowly emerge from the pandemic, and see the trends in student math learning, many of us are wondering what we need to do moving forward to ensure the success of all students. The new California Math Framework is clear in what shifts need to be made. Please join district and site administrators in a conversation with Dr. Ben Ford, Dr. Patrick Callahan, and Emily Akinshin to hear about instruction and assessment recommendations. This conversation will address drivers of investigation, what it means to teach to a big idea, and what components of assessment are needed to gather data that captures the multidimensionality of student math competencies.
