Spotlight on Sonoma County Schools, 2014-15
08/17/2014 - “It’s often said that we’re living in a rapidly changing world. Preparing students to thrive in that world has challenged schools to rethink the old ways of doing things and reinvent education for modern times,” said Sonoma County Superintendent of Schools Steve Herrington in a new SCOE publication issued today. “Sonoma County schools are creating opportunities for students to learn, understand, and apply academic content in ways that prepare them for future success. I am honored to help publicize their work.”
Spotlight on Sonoma County Schools 2014-15 (pdf) was included as an insert in today’s issue of The Press Democrat. This eight-page publication highlights some of the innovations and success stories in local public schools today.
