How do you describe your job to people outside SCOE?
I clean and maintain the building for my fellow employees so they can work in a clean environment.

Where did you grow up?
Cazadero, CA

Who was your favorite childhood teacher and why?
Ms. Port. She was my 5th/6th grade teacher. She acknowledged that each student learned differently. It wasn’t so rigid. I always had a lot of energy, and she would let me go outside and calm down before doing my schoolwork.

What is your favorite thing about working for SCOE?
Working in public service in the county where I grew up. Almost all my family works in public service: My mom works at the county office in Marin. My grandfather was a custodian at Monte Rio schools.

What is one of your most memorable moments as a SCOE employee?
The very first day that I worked alone, I got the Oak rooms mixed up and I had to frantically switch the rooms because I realized about 10 minutes before.

Outside of work, what is your favorite hobby or way to unwind?
Disc Golf. I go to Crane Creek and Taylor Mountain (regional parks). They're good because I get to take my dog with me.

What is your favorite place in Sonoma County?
The beach!

What is one thing that might surprise people to learn about you?
That I lived in LA for two years and I started my own pool cleaning company.
