How do you describe your job to people outside SCOE?
We serve our Districts by providing software assistance for our financial package, ESCAPE.

Where did you grow up?
Oakland and Guerneville, California

Who was your favorite childhood teacher and why?
Mr. Silva - 4th Grade - he was kind, funny and had a calming presence.

What is your favorite thing about working for SCOE?
The kindness of the people I work with.

What is one of your most memorable moments as a SCOE employee?
Since I have only been “on campus” for 2 weeks, I would have to say getting the phone call for the job offer while I was on vacation with my family in Maui for my birthday.

Outside of work, what is your favorite hobby or way to unwind?
Church and hiking.

What is your favorite place in Sonoma County?
Any hiking trail, especially at the coast.

What is one thing that might surprise people to learn about you?
I recently checked off a bucket list item by going on a hot air balloon ride. It was AMAZING!
