Peer Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) Reading Workshop
PALS Reading accommodates student diversity by decentering the teaching and learning processóreorganizing classrooms so that, for part of the day, students work with students and assume an active role in their own learning. In this workshop, participants will learn how to conduct peer-mediated reading instruction in grades 2-6 classrooms. They will learn how to pair students and prepare them to work together constructively on strategic reading tasks that accelerate reading performance.
