Managing Serious Behavior (MSB), Part 2

Managing Student Behavior (MSB) is a program developed by the Sonoma County SELPA and district behavior specialists to address the issues of positive behavioral intervention and emergency techniques. This is a two-part training that results in certification by the Sonoma County SELPA. Once training is completed, certification is good for two years and satisfies the initial or re-certification requirement.

Part 2 of the training is contingent upon successful completion of Part 1. This portion of the training covers crisis communication, escape and evade, and SELPA-approved emergency techniques. The Part 2 workshop will be take place on Aug 9th, 8:30am-3:00pm. You must successfully complete Part 1 to attend. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Check (paid by you or your district/school via a purchase order process): After you register you will receive a confirmation / invoice. If you are paying for the event yourself, print your confirmation / invoice, attach your check, and mail as indicated. If your district or school is paying for the event, please forward your confirmation / invoice to the appropriate person so that a check can be processed via your district/school's purchase order (PO) process. SCOE does not require a copy of the PO, as an invoice is sent at the time of event registration.

Credit card (PayPal): You must enter credit card information at the time of registration. If you are being reimbursed for this event, follow your district/school guidelines for reimbursement.

If you do not receive a confirmation / invoice within 24 hours, your registration is not complete. Please call the registration contact listed below for assistance.

There will be no refunds; however, substitutions are always welcome.

    Audience Open only to individuals who have completed Part 1 of the Managing Student Behavior training.
    Attendance is limited to current employees of Sonoma County SELPA or Sonoma County Charter SELPA member districts and agencies.
