Jo Boaler's Online Math Course

SCOE is pleased to host an amazing opportunity for Sonoma County's K-12 teachers to participate in How to Learn Math For Teachers, an incredible online math course developed by Jo Boaler, the celebrated Stanford mathematician and mathematics educator. Sonoma County teachers are invited to engage in four of the eight online Stanford course sessions at SCOE with local math educators (the remaining four sessions will be completed by participating teachers on their own). Upon completion of this course, the California Math Council (CMC) will provide participants with Jo Boalerís book, Mathematical Mindset.

Even more exciting: current California Math Council (CMC) members who register for this offering prior to September 15, or new members who join by the membership deadline of September 15, will receive significant savings on this opportunity as CMC will cover a portion of the class fee to provide attendees with a special price. Non-CMC members can still take advantage of this opportunity by paying the full class fee.
